Ìpè yìí wà fún àwọn òǹkọ̀wé láti fi ìṣẹ́ wọn ránṣẹ́ sí wa ní Àtẹ́lẹwọ. Iṣẹ́ náà gbọ́dọ̀ jẹ́ èyí tí ó sọ̀rọ̀ nípa ìtàn orílẹ̀, ìṣẹ̀dálẹ̀ tàbí ìlú ní ilẹ̀ Yorùbá. Ó tún le dá lórí àwọn ǹkan alárà-ǹ-barà tó jẹ́mọ àṣà àti ìtàn Yorùbá. Bí àpẹrẹ: Odò Ọ̀ṣun, Òkè Àsabàrí, Òdò Ìyàké, ìtàn ìbejì ní Ìlú Igbó Ọrà abbl. Fún àpẹẹrẹ, ẹni tí ó wá láti Ìbàdàn lè kọ nípa Ìbàdàn (àwọn ǹǹkan tí a lè mọ nípa ìṣẹ̀dálè Ìbàdàn àti bẹ́ẹ̀bẹ́ẹ̀ lọ).

Project Ògùsọ̀: Call for Submission

This is to invite Yorùbá writers to send their creative works to us at Àtẹ́lẹwọ́ for publication. These submissions must engage Yorùbá histories, creation stories, origin stories of places and regions in Yorùbá land. It can also be based on special heritage sites or elements like Ọ̀ṣun river, Àsabàrí Hill, Ìyàké Lake, Igbó Ọrà Twin stories and so on. For example, someone who is a native of Ìbàdàn can write about Ibadan and send to us. You can follow these guidelines:

Your work must engage engage Yorùbá histories, creation stories, origin stories of places and regions in Yorùbá land. It can also be based on special heritage sites or elements like Ọ̀ṣun river, Àsabàrí Hill, Ìyàké Lake, Igbó Ọrà Twin stories and so on.
You can send your work to us as essay, short story, video, audio, play, interview etc.
Your work will be published on our site at www.atelewo.org
We will pay a stipend of N5,000 to each contributor whose works are selected from the pool of submissions.
A contributor can make multiple submissions, however if we select more than one of such works, we will only pay N5,000 irrespective of the number of works selected from one contributor.
Writers are required to send in their works–around 1,500 to 5,000 words or more (1.0 spacing, font size 12)– in a Microsoft Word document format ONLY.
